Cavalcade of Lights Pyro Show at Toronto City Hall - Saturday November 28, Saturday December 5,12 & 19

For the second year in a row Circus Orange has been given the opportunity of lighting up the night's sky for the Cavalcade of Lights celebration. This is a large-scale pyrotechnic show that takes place on and around the two towers of City Hall in the very heart of downtown Toronto.
Some of you may remember our show last year as it featured two daredevil pyro rappellers who scaled down the buildings as pyrotechnics fired off specially constructed backpacks. We don't want to give too much away but let's just say that we intend to up the ante for this years show. You will have to come down to see what we have in store for you.
**As an extra special added attraction, this year's opening night festivities, Saturday November 28, will feature a pyro performance dance number to really get you worked up! Show time is at 7 PM - this is a 'One Night Only' event.

"Bearded Lunatic Uses AssBlaster III"

Once again, we were invited to create a special, top secret show for BudWeiser's 'Bud Camp' this summer. Hmmm...an escape to the woods for an entire week-end, a chance to build special stunts, beautiful ladies, and BEER! We ended up using a special piece of arsenal we like to call the "AssBlaster III" to start the camp fire. And yes, our 'Bearded Pyro Lunatic' is no longer welcome at Boy Scout meetings! He lit just about everything in sight. Those in attendance were shocked to watch us blow up the outhouse - man, was that fun! (no worries though, as this wasn't the 'main facility'.
"Gentlemen, Start Your Engines"

Talk about the pits! We were in it, the 'Pit', I mean, this past Sunday. We at Circus Orange had one of the best seats in the house for this year's Honda Indy in downtown Toronto. We were asked by the organizers to accompany our nation's anthem with our custom pyrotechnics at the start of the race. And of course, who can resist a chance to do pyrotechnics in the daytime. Vroom, Vroom!

BuskerFest

Our famous Tricycle made its second ever appearance on the streets of Toronto this past August as part of Buskerfest.
Because there was no room on the street site for our huge pyro finale, this was a roaming only performance with a scaled down pyro routine from the Tricycle as part of Friday's fire show. We did, however, have the pleasure of a very special unannounced guest, (none other than the Mayor of our fair city, David Miller), riding atop our magnificent machine. See, practically everyone rides a bike here in Toronto!

FireJammers
Imagine, a TV show all about Circus Orange! In the summer of 2008, as we rebuilt JumpJet for an 18-day run at the CNE in Toronto, a dedicated team from YAP Films skillfully captured our every move on tape. Since then they have crafted our adventure into an epic one-hour long TV special. "Fire Jammers" aired on the Discovery Network (Canada) August 3rd at 7:00 pm eastern time.
If you had always wondered what it takes to create one of our spectacular shows, this was a chance to see all the ups and the downs during our creative process. Watching as Tom Comet lead his technical team in the shop as they build the machines, experiment with rigging and blow stuff up was a real gas (pun intended)! You find yourself right there in the rehearsal room as Rebecca followed her creative process, developing the story line and creating the various on-stage performance elements. For the first time ever, all this behind the scenes action could be viewed as if you were there working alongside us.
